Refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens — JYR removes large appliances anywhere in San Francisco. We handle freon-containing units responsibly and recycle metal whenever possible.
JYR runs trucks across every San Francisco neighborhood — from the Sunset and Richmond to the Mission, SOMA, Bernal Heights, Pacific Heights, and beyond. Most appliance removal jobs booked before 2pm are completed the same day. We handle single-item pickups (one fridge, one washer) as well as multi-appliance loads from kitchen remodels, laundry-room renovations, and rental turnovers.
Large appliances contain valuable steel, copper, aluminum, and plastics — and refrigeration units contain regulated refrigerants that must be recovered before disposal. We partner with EPA-compliant Bay Area appliance recyclers who reclaim refrigerants, drain compressor oil, and shred metal for reuse. Choosing a licensed hauler protects you from illegal-dumping fines and keeps mercury, freon, and PCBs out of California waterways.
Refrigerators, freezers, chest freezers, wine coolers, mini-fridges, top-load and front-load washers, gas and electric dryers, dishwashers, gas and electric ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, range hoods, microwaves, water heaters (gas and electric tankless), trash compactors, garbage disposals, window AC units, portable AC units, and dehumidifiers. If it plugs in or hooks up to a gas line, JYR can take it.
Single-appliance pickups start at $109 all-in — that includes labor, disconnection (water/electric only; gas lines require a licensed plumber), stairs, transport, dump fees, and recycling. Multi-appliance jobs are priced by volume in our 16-yard truck and you'll always get a firm quote before we lift anything. There are no surprise fees for stairs in San Francisco walk-ups under three flights.
We're a fully licensed, bonded, and insured Bay Area junk removal company. Property managers and landlords across SF book us for tenant turnovers, evictions, and unit refreshes because we provide Certificates of Insurance, photo documentation, and same-day invoicing.
